The Trust seeks ambitious and motivated individuals to join our busy site, in different roles across the setting.
Kehelland Trust, situated near Camborne, Cornwall provides a rural, horticultural setting for the support of young people and adults with learning and /or physical disabilities. Developing personal and social skills, individual opportunities and active participation in the local community.

Position 1: Weekend Horticultural Worker

Over 40 weekends and up to 7 bank holidays a year, with variable hours according to workload. £8.32/hr (about 4 hrs each weekend across the year)

You will be responsible for the out of hours watering, care and upkeep of our plants on site and to check site safety and security.
The ideal candidate will have appropriate horticultural skills and experience, be happy working alone, be flexible about working hours according to conditions and workload and have excellent communication skills.
There is potential for the right candidate to progress to more seasonal hours within our retail setting, subject to experience and opportunities.

WEEKEND HORTICULTURAL WORKER JOB AND PERSON SPEC

Position 2: Horticultural Support Worker

37hrs per week £8.32/hr
This post has become available due to the expansion of our care provision at Kehelland Trust.
You will have day-to-day responsibility for individuals with learning and/ or physical disabilities within a given site area; supporting them in assisting with and undertaking various horticultural business tasks.
You will preferably have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Health or Social Care setting and /or within a horticultural business.
You will have preferably a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, an ability to prioritise your own workload and work as part of a team.

HORICULTURAL SUPPORT WORKER JOB AND PERSON SPEC

Position 3: Site Maintenance Support Worker

37hrs per week. £8.32/hr (Job Share considered)

You will have day-to-day responsibility for individuals with learning and/ or physical disabilities within the site maintenance section; supporting them in assisting with and undertaking various tasks across the site; internally and externally.
You will preferably have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Health or Social Care setting and/or within the building trade or maintenance sector, an ability to prioritise your own workload & work as part of a team.
