WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Kehelland Trust has an educational provision here on site - Kehelland College. We provide a specialist education course for young adults ages 16-24 who have an EHCP - this compromises of three year-long courses that help to prepare learners for employability and aids them in exploring the right career options, as well as learning different skills that are embedded into the course.

Each year builds upon the knowledge and skills gained in the previous year, helping anybody and everybody to achieve their end goal of living a more independent life! The idea of entering a new phase of life can be daunting for some learners; we're here to help with that!

Each year has a different tutor, and the learners will be taught different topics that eventually lead up towards being ready for employability.  Want to see what we can offer? Click the link below.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Every year group will attend Kehelland College for three days. Two of the days will be in our classroom where they will learn different topics based on their group. One of the days will be a work experience day - for the first two year groups, this will take place on our 16 acre site, whether that's working outside with our horticulture and outdoor education groups, working in our kitchen area, in our shop or working with our maintenance team. Our third-year Succeed group will have access to work experience externally and will be able to visit different workplaces for their work experience day.

On the classroom days, learners will have access to our classroom facilities along with different resources such as IT equipment like tablets and laptops. The learners will also experience practical English and Maths skills which are embedded within their days in the classroom. Our learners will be supported by our incredible staff team, which include their group tutors and the amazing Additional Learning Support team. If it's required in the EHCP, we can support on a 1:1 basis to ensure the learner has the best chance of meeting their full potential.
